How do I confirm my reservation?
Reservations are confirmed with a signed Rental Agreement & prepayment. Reservations cannot be guaranteed nor confirmed until both the Rental Agreement & prepayment have been received. All due dates & monies owed are listed on your Agreement.
What is Travel Insurance?
CSA Travel Insurance has been offered with your reservation. Vacation Rental Insurance reimburses for pre-paid, non-refundable expenses due to certain unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize your vacation and force you to incur unplanned expenses. Why do I have to pay a Security Deposit & when do I get my money back?
A Security Deposit is required for occupancy. Deductions may be made to your security deposit if damage occurs at the property or additional expenses are incurred. The security deposit will be refunded within 45 days of your departure date. We do our best to get Security Deposits refunded as quickly as possible. * DEPOSITS ARE RETURNED IN SAME METHOD THEY ARE RECEIVED.
Is trash removal service included?
No, trash removal is the responsibility of the guest. All trash must be removed from the property by the guest upon departure. All food must be cleaned out of the refrigerator and freezer. Instructions on where to take the trash will be included in your welcome packet upon arrival.
Are linens provided?
Yes, all linens are provided at each of the rental properties. The beds will be made for your arrival. All of our properties do have a washer & dryer for your use during your stay. Deer Ridge will clean all linens upon your departure.
What items do I need to bring?
You will need to bring all paper products, soaps, staples and personal items.
Can I make calls from the property if my cell phone* doesn’t work?
Yes, you can make Local calls from the property telephone. Long distance service is not provided. Please bring a calling card with you to make a long distance call if you need to do it from the house.
Does the property come with Firewood?
Properties do not come with firewood stocked at the property. Firewood may be ordered through Deer Ridge at least one week prior to arrival for a fee of $50. Small bundles can also be purchased at local grocery stores. Please confirm with your reservation associate that the home you have reserved does indeed have a wood burning fireplace. Many of our homes have gas logs installed or may not have fireplaces
How many people can I have stay with me in my Rental home?
Each home description states the maximum number of people the house sleeps, including children. This reflects the septic capacity of the property and beds in the home, and should never be exceeded. If your group exceeds the maximum occupancy as stated, this is treated as a material breach of your lease agreement and grounds for an expedited eviction proceeding through the Vacation Rental Act of North Carolina.
Can I bring my Pet?
For properties which allow dogs, there is a two dog maximum and a non-refundable fee up to $125 per dog plus tax will be charged in order to permit the dog. Cats are not permitted in any of our rental homes due to Allergy issues.
A Departure cleaning fee is charged to the Guest on all Reservations. The cleaning fee is different for each property and varies in accordance to the length of stay.
